Why I Blog Erratically

HEY THERE all you beautiful people who still bother to read my blog! You know I love you~

So I know I don't blog like I used to, with a new post every few days. Now, when I do post, I post in spurts - random spurts of sudden inspiration. I mean, if I have nothing to write about, what do I write about? I'm not a very creative person, so I don't often get any ideas that are interesting and bloggable enough to blog about. Personally, I just don't see the point in writing something when I have nothing to write. That's reserved for English class. (HAHA I'm so funny.)

A brief summary of reasons why I may not be blogging for a period of time:

1. Life is boring where I live, and just boring in general. Nothing ever happens...except for the recent shooting, which is obviously horrible and sad and scary and really sick, especially since the soldier was shot in front of the war memorial. That's just twisted. My heart goes out to Cpl. Nathan Cirillo as well as WO Patrice Vincent, and all who knew them. May you rest in peace. 
2. I have schoolwork - a shitload of schoolwork, to the point where my life is basically a pile of homework. Sad, I know.
3. Books!
4. I'm on a trip.
5. Tumblr and/or Facebook
6. Youtube

Generally, though, it's the first two reasons. And to be honest, I go on Tumblr and Facebook erratically too...

Anyhoo, this post is about my Twitter account. If you've already clicked on it, you may have noticed that I have posted pretty much nothing. That is, nothing except for something along the lines of "Enter for a chance to win a signed copy of (insert book title here) by @author'sname".

That is because I have never wanted twitter, and I've never had any reason to want it. (Just to be clear, I also have nothing against it.)

Then why create a Twitter account, you ask? Why, for the sole reason of entering Rafflecopter giveaways, of course.

Pretty much ALL of my favourite authors have been using Rafflecoptor for their giveaways, and not being able to enter made me so mad!! I mean why does it have to use twitter?? I want those boooooooks!!!

So yeah. That's my ulterior motive :D After much time spent drooling over those books, I finally decided to make a twitter account.

So there. That's why everything I tweet is about authors' giveaways. Because that's what I made it for: entering authors' giveaways.

On the other hand, if you think that there is a chance that I might actually start using my Twitter account (which there is actually a chance of), then feel free to follow me here. Not-So-Grand Opening

Hello! Since this is my first post on here, I thought I'd write a short introductory blurb. This is going to be pretty boring, just warning you.

I've actually wanted to start a blog for a while now, but I could never think of anything to write about. I find it kind of funny that when I finally do start a blog, it's when I'm supposed to be cramming for an English assignment. Though that's not exactly a good thing...

I'll be blogging about my life, school, and random things that pop up in my head. Hopefully there will be a new post every week. And...that's pretty much it.

End of the first post :)
